What to do in case of an empty battery
- 1. The Smart Door Lock has over a year's battery life. When the battery is low, it notifies you to replace the batteries. If you fail to replace your batteries in time, you can still open your Smart Door Lock using the micro USB port and by following these instructions:
- 2. Open the front cover under the outdoor knob.
- 3. Plug a micro-USB cable into the Smart Door Lock’s micro-USB port.
- 4. Then plug the cable into a power bank or another type of power source. The Smart Door Lock will emit a sound to indicate it has been powered on.
- 5. Unlock the door using the mobile app.
- 6. Remove the USB cable and close the cover.
- 7. Change the batteries from the inside
